Get Involved with the KES PTO
We are recruiting for all roles - BOARD MEMBERS, chairs, and COMMITTEES!
Support our school, meet fellow parents, and make a difference — one event or project at a time! Want to help in a way that fits your time and talents? We’ve got roles big and small — and all of them make a significant impact!
Board
Secretary(s) - Two seats are available on the Executive Board. Secretaries support the PTO by attending all meetings, recording minutes, managing email communications and official records, and helping maintain the PTO closet.
Community Affairs Chair - This role helps connect KES with the broader community by sharing district-wide initiatives, local events, and opportunities with families.
Fundraising Chair(s)- Develop and implement strategies and events to support the PTO budget, collaborating with committees like Spiritwear and Spring Fundraising to keep fundraising efforts engaging and effective.
Committees

Author Visits - Partner with the KES Librarian to bring in memorable and inspiring writers and illustrators

We are also looking for someone to help the administration bring in presentations and speakers for the year. Several people needed, so step right up!
Field Day - Team up with PE teachers to plan activities and rally volunteers to bring the fun to Field Day in June.
Fifth Grade Liaison and Committee – Help coordinate special events and traditions just for our graduating class, working with teachers, the PTO, and fellow parents to make it a memorable year.
