PTO Executive Board Meeting

December 2nd at 7PM:
The JJMS PTO invites all parents in the K-L district to "Internet Awareness" - a talk
given by Mr. Thomas Grimes, retired NYPD detective and our Brewster neighbor.
"Back by popular demand" - Mr. Thomas Grimes will be returning to JJMS
on Tuesday evening, December 2nd at 7pm. Mr. Grimes spoke to over 60 parents at the last JJMS PTO meeting regarding the Internet.
Based upon student and parent feedback and requests we have scheduled him again so that those of you who missed his daytime
presentation may make plans to attend this event. Mr. Grimes presentation is titled "Internet Awareness" and goes into such
areas as protecting children on the Internet, identify theft and cyberbullying. If you don't know the 3 things to
ask your children to determine if they are ready for a social networking site
then you will find this presentation invaluable!
